Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic my full name is Wilfredo J. Rijo Román.
I've been working since 2000 after leaving military training, I got to work in the AILA airport as a Customer Service Representative for COPA Airlines. In less than a year thanks to my adaptability to understand software I became an Junior Agent.
The multi-national company then, created several courses ranging from Specialized Customer Relationship to Technical and Advanced knowledge of internal processes. This secured my next position as an Senior Agent . After showing excel in leadership and several decisions I became Supervisor interim where I lead a team of 8 agents for a year when finally I decided to move on in 2006.
After almost a year of working as freelancer in programming and process handling in small business I started working at DISTOSA the official dealer of the TOSHIBA brand in Dominican Republic as a Sales Officer of Copiers in 2007.
At that time the company was struggling to establish the brand in the Multifunction Printers (MFPs) and services market, with my knowledge in software and development we quickly developed a plan to make the brand stand with others. This made visible the need of an specialized department to help identify and implement installations, wich in 2010 became a reality with me leading the department as Software and Implementation Officer. New brands and related products helped grow of the department and finally in 2011 I became the Service Department Manager leading a team of 6 senior technicians, 4 juniors and an assistant. This came with specific tasks so the department would grow:
Without fail, in less than a year, I helped accomplish all teams goals; 90% of the team was certified, the numbers of open issues drop it and the department doubled sales making it self sufficient. Finally in 2013 I developed my own company making DISTOSA one of my first customers.
In 2015 one of my customers at the time approached me with a need, create a process flow for his company this ultimately became me working as Gubernamental Sales & Projects Manager in AVI Constructora a company part of SR Grupo Azul.
For 5 years I prepared more than 30 projects and managed/developed more than a dozen. With sales over a million dollars (DOP70,000,000.00) in total.Dowload my CV
